Uniting our efforts to build a strong defense against AIDS
President Zhang Shusheng
At the beginning of the event, President Zhang Shusheng delivered a welcome address. He emphasized the significance of AIDS prevention and control from the perspective of healthcare institutions, and stated that the hospital will continue to provide infected individuals with medical services that are both professional and compassionate.
Deputy Director Cheng Bo
In his speech, Deputy Director Cheng Bo emphasized that effective AIDS prevention and control requires collaborative efforts from the government, medical institutions, social organizations, and other stakeholders. It is essential not only to strengthen prevention and control through science and technology, but also to eliminate social discrimination through humanistic care.
President Zhang Yinjun
Zhang Yinjun, President of Beijing Changier Education Foundation, reviewed the Foundation's twenty-year journey in continuously advancing AIDS prevention education nationwide and in Hunan Province, and expressed gratitude for the strong support provided by departments at all levels in Hunan Province. She advocates for further strengthening collaboration among families, schools, and society to establish a robust health protection network for adolescents; innovating science communication and outreach methods to dispel misconceptions; and targeting key populations to provide tailored care. To date, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation has established 50 Changier Huts throughout Hunan Province, set up 3 Maternal Love Academies, conducted over 2,000 thematic lectures, trained more than 300 teachers, provided assistance to over 3,000 students in difficult circumstances, and directly benefited more than 3.6 million people in total.
