The Launch Ceremony for the Fifth Selection of Best Practices in Healthcare Governance in the Yangtze River Delta Region

On June 22, the 2024 Fourth Yangtze River Delta Health Summit was successfully held in Hefei, Anhui Province. Yan Junqi, the Vice Chairperson of the 12th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended the event, and Chen Zhu, the Vice Chairperson of the 13th Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, delivered an online speech. During the summit, the results of the Fourth Selection of Best Practices in Healthcare Governance in the Yangtze River Delta Region were announced and prizes awarded. Additionally, the Fifth Selection of Best Practices in Healthcare Governance in the Yangtze River Delta Region was officially launched. Chairman Zhang Yinjun led the team to the summit and participated in the meeting activities with Vice Chairman Yan Junqi, as well as the launch ceremony of the Fifth Selection of Best Practices in Healthcare Governance in the Yangtze River Delta Region. Gao Shuqun and Zeng Zhansheng, advisors of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, attended the entire event.

The "Health · Maternal Love · New Quality Productive Forces" Changier Think Tank Forum Scene

Six sub-forums and three themed forums were held concurrently with the main forum. These include "Focusing on Innovation: Developing New Quality Productive Forces in Pharmaceuticals," "Multi-Level Medical Security Supporting Pharmaceutical Industry Innovation," "High-Quality Development of a Digitally Intelligent Health System," "Strengthening Healthcare Foundations and Integrating Prevention with Medical Services," "Disciplinary Construction and Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Boosting High-Quality Development of Public Hospitals," "Best Practice Cases Study of Health Care in the Yangtze River Delta Region," "High-Quality Development of Maternal and Child Health," "Changier Think Tank Forum: Health, Maternal Love, and New Quality Productive Forces," and "Anhui Health and Wellness Special Session." At the sub-forums and themed forums, guests engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on nine hot topics. Some sub-forums have arranged for on-site visits.

At the Changier Think Tank Forum hosted by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, the attending guests contributed ideas and strategies for the Changier development strategy around the theme of "Health, Maternal Love, and New Quality Productive Forces". Chairman Zhang Yinjun personally presided over the seminar.

2024 Fourth Yangtze River Delta Health Summit

The "Yangtze River Delta Health Summit," now in its fourth year, was guided by the Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office, hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and co-organized by the Institute of Healthy Yangtze River Delta, School of International and Public Affairs, China Institute for Urban Governance of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Beijing Changier Education Foundation.

The theme of this summit is "New Governance and New Quality Productive Forces in Healthcare: Synergy, Breakthrough, Development". The event comprises a main forum and nine sub-forums and themed forums. The summit underscored the urgent need for integration and breakthrough in health governance and new quality productive forces to facilitate the Chinese model of modernization in health. It called for vigorous development in institutional innovation, technological innovation, and service innovation to contribute to the comprehensive advancement of the Chinese model of health modernization and the enhancement of public health welfare.
