When discussing the origins of the collaboration, Mr. Chou Chin-Hua remarked that since the launch of the "Stories About Mum in Taiwan" event in Changsha this March, the Taiwan Chou Ta-kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation and the Beijing Changier Education Foundation have established excellent cooperative relations. In September, Zhang Yinjun, President of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, traveled to Taiwan to participate in the "Fervent Global Love of Lives Award" ceremony hosted by the Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation. During the same period, the Maternal Love Academy of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation hosted a plaque-awarding ceremony at Fo Guang University in Taiwan. This represents a substantial step forward for the "Maternal Love Education Consortium" across the Taiwan Strait.

President Zhang Yinjun warmly welcomed Chou Chin-Hua and his delegation. She expressed that the original aspiration of the Taiwan Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation stemmed from Mr. and Mrs. Chou Chin-Hua's dedication to transforming their personal passion for caring for children into a substantial public welfare initiative. Despite originating from different backgrounds, the two foundations share a profound love for life and a commitment to support the healthy growth of individuals. Their efforts are remarkably aligned, and they aspire to enhance collaboration as the closest foundations across the strait, working together to advance global life education.

Advisor Gao Shuqun elaborated in detail on the establishment of the "United Nations Maternal Love University." He highlighted that maternal love is the foundation of all affection, and maternal love education is the most fundamental and primitive education. He called for joint efforts with the Taiwan Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation and compatriots worldwide to establish the world's first shared university for maternal love education, empowering mothers globally.

During the event, a gift exchange ceremony was held. On site, the cancer survivors had lively discussions with the guests, sharing their life stories. One survivor, Cai Ruizhe, shared that when he was in sixth grade, he discovered a tumor as big as a hand due to vision problems. From then until now, the entire process of fighting cancer, including chemotherapy, surgery, and medication, has been unable to completely control it. After chemotherapy, the disease relapsed multiple times. A total of six surgeries were performed until no more could be done. Initially, he struggled to come to terms with his situation and often blamed fate. However, by the time he reached university, he had become more accepting. He expressed gratitude to the Chou Ta-Kuan Foundation for providing him with much-needed companionship and encouragement, which helped him view his challenges from a different perspective. Cancer cells exhibit remarkable resilience; in a sense, they can be seen as our teachers, from which we can learn the spirit of tenacity and vitality.

Zheng Yan, who has worked at the National Health Commission for many years, engaged in deep discussions with several cancer survivors on site. He emphasized that the development of cancer cells is influenced by multiple factors and that both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine provide various treatment options. However, he believes that "love is the best vaccine against disease." The most effective way to care for a disease is with love. He encouraged everyone to view cancer cells and their own lives as equal life forms, coexisting peacefully without seeking to destroy each other.
