Recently, the 2024 "Love under the Sun" summer camp activities were held in Beijing. During the event, Peng Liyuan, a goodwill ambassador of the World Health Organization (WHO) for tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS, met three representative young volunteers of the summer camp.

In 2006, Peng was appointed by the former Ministry of Health as an AIDS prevention spokesperson. She visited children affected by AIDS in Fuyang, Anhui, where she met three youths at that time. Over the years, she has continued to care for and follow their growth and development. The three young individuals, now having completed their education and embarked on their careers in society. They shared with Peng their current work and life situations, along with their experiences volunteering, expressing gratitude for the care and support they have received from the Party, the government, and various sectors of society. Peng warmly remarked that the memories of their past are vivid, and seeing their growth and transformation brings her great comfort and joy. She encouraged the youths to be self-reliant and strive for self-improvement, to work diligently, and become valuable contributors to society.
