The 4th Canadian CBI Inclusive Education Pyramid Symposium by Beijing Changier Education Foundation Successfully Held

From December 21 to 22, 2024, the "4th Canadian CBI Inclusive Education Pyramid Symposium," supported by Wan Qian, the Caring Ambassador of the APEPCY, was successfully held in Hefei. The symposium seeks to increase societal awareness of children with autism while advancing the professional competency of autism care specialists. The event is hosted by Beijing Changier Education Foundation and co-organized by CFD Learning and Hefei Xingtian Education. Principals, inclusive education teachers, and parents of children with special needs from kindergartens across the region came together for a two-day symposium.

According to incomplete statistics, the prevalence of autism has reached 1 in 36, with more than 10 million children diagnosed with autism in China. For this significant population, inclusive education provides a vital pathway for children with autism to attend school and become integrated members of society. The successful convening of this symposium has not only advanced the development of inclusive education but also ignited a ray of hope for children with autism.

The Beijing Changier Education Foundation has long been committed to advancing inclusive education in China through promoting autism awareness, sharing international best practices in evidence-based teaching, and providing educational and life support for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities.
