On September 13, APEPCY projects were introduced to Zhuzhou Vocational Education University Zone. The projects aimed to promote healthy growth and adolescent health education among teenagers by building Changier Huts in nine institutions within the Zone, introducing charity programs such as AIDS prevention education and sex education, forming a volunteer team dedicated to fighting AIDS and drug abuse, offering free automatic HIV antibody testing services and carrying out surveys.

Li Feng, a lecturer from the APEPCY base in Zhuzhou, Hunan and an attending physician at the Zhuzhou Disease Control and Prevention Center, along with Chen Peng, another lecturer from the same base and the deputy chief physician at the Zhuzhou Disease Control and Prevention Center, gave lectures on AIDS prevention and control and sexual health education to young students at the Yunlong Campus and South Campus of Hunan Railway Professional Technology College. Nearly 6,000 students and teachers listened to the lectures.

Meanwhile, the Shifeng District Disease Control and Prevention Center, Zhuzhou City planned to distribute HIV antibody rapid-test kits or, where conditions permit, deploy HIV automatic testing machines, provide technical guidance for HIV automatic testing and surveys, and analyze results to assess the health status and needs of adolescents. Any individuals who were found to be potential carriers during the HIV antibody screening will be contacted and their HIV blood sampling preliminary screening process will be initiated.

Cao Zheng'an, the Deputy Director of Zhuzhou Disease Control and Prevention Center, stated that young students had become a high-risk group for HIV infection. The introduction of APEPCY to Zhuzhou Vocational Education University Zone is of significant importance for the promotion and education of young students.
