From October 14 to 15, Beijing Changier Education Foundation, a member unit of the Social Welfare Committee of Beijing New Social Stratum Association, collaborated with the Pinggu District Education Commission to carry out mental health and sex education activities aimed at promoting the healthy growth of young people and supporting the development of Pinggu District.

On October 14, the foundation invited Ms. Bai Lu, an expert in sex education and mental health education, to deliver sex education lectures titled "The Colors of Youth" at Pinggu No. 5 Middle School, Jing Ying Future School, and Menlouzhuang Middle School. Approximately 360 teachers and students participated. Through discussions on peer relationships and safety during adolescence, Ms. Bai helped students understand the friendships and pressures among peers that occur during adolescence. She also guided students on how to face their psychological changes and better handle emotions and peer relationships to better embrace the arrival of adolescence and promote their physical and mental health.

On the next day, the foundation invited Professor Yue Xiaodong, a specially appointed professor at the School of Psychology, Capital Normal University, to conduct a mental health education training event themed "Narrative Therapy" for about 100 full-time and part-time psychological teachers from primary and middle schools in Pinggu District. The expert conducted the training through various methods such as theory, hands-on practice, and case analysis, further enhancing teachers' psychological teaching skills and promoting the development of mental health work among teachers in Pinggu District.
