On November 27th, 2021 the 34th World AIDS Day, the sixth China Youth AIDS Prevention and Control Education Symposium was held in Beijing with the theme of "Protect teenagers, popularize sex education and end AIDS". 

Mr. Gu Mingyuan, a 92-year old famous educator, attended the meeting and gave a talk, pointing out that the "social vaccine of sex education for AIDS prevention" formed by the 16-year exploration of APEPCY is a unique formula for China to take the lead in ending AIDS. It should not only play an important role in China, but also be shared by the world. President Zhang Yinjun introduced the practical and effective role of the HIV/AIDS prevention model of sex education and humanistic education of APEPCY in blocking the spread of AIDS, and the United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) fully affirmed and recommended that China carry out sex education by "tightening the taps upstream".
