Since being granted the special consultative status of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 2019, Beijing Changier Education Foundation has fully leveraged its strengths, actively exercised its consultative rights, engaged in people-to-people diplomacy, and achieved positive results. First, the Foundation actively enhances exchanges and cooperation with UN agencies in China, including the World Health Organization, the UNICEF, the UNESCO, the UNAIDS, and the UN Women. Second, the Foundation participates in UN meetings such as the sessions held by the UN Human Rights Council, the Commission on the Status of Women, and the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), and organizes parallel events. Third, the Foundation has been repeatedly invited to the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, South-South Cooperation development forums, and the Civil Society 20 (C20) Summit, where it has showcased China's and the Foundation's achievements in advancing the protection of rights and interests of women and children and HIV/AIDS prevention. Fourth, the Foundation invites prominent figures from various countries to sign a joint declaration of the international civil society on working together to implement the GDI, supporting to build a global community of shared future for development. Fifth, the Foundation conducts foreign donations and mutual visits with embassies and NGOs from Asian and African countries to improve mutual trust. In the future, Changier will focus on promotion and cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road in implementing the "Chinese Adolescent Sexual Education Model on AIDS Prevention," which was pioneered by the Foundation and highly recognized by the UNAIDS. Furthermore, it will deeply engage in international cooperation particularly in addressing key and challenging issues within the field of women's and children's HIV/AIDS prevention education, to better fulfill its consultative role.
