The Asian Civilization Dialogue Conference and Asian Civilization Week were grandly opened in Beijing on May 15th.

Zhang Yinjun, Deputy Director of the Women and Children's Commission of the CPC Central Committee and President of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, attended a number of activities upon invitation and had extensive and in-depth exchanges with guests at home and abroad on the history and future of Asian civilization, the strengths and weaknesses of Asian civilization, and the problems of women and children in Asian civilization. She specially calls on adding "women's Topics" and "women's sessions" at Asian Civilizations Dialogue Conference on behalf of Asian Women, focusing on the most pressing issues concerning Asia's development, such as gender equality and elimination of gender discrimination, women's empowerment and education for women and children.
