On the afternoon of December 1, on the occasion of the 38th World AIDS Day, the Trade Union of the Central Committee Offices of CAPD, together with the General Office, hosted the 128th session of the Kai Ming Forum and organized officials and staff members to watch the first public-welfare theatrical film in China focusing on adolescent HIV/AIDS prevention, Changier. Zhu Yongxin, Executive Vice Chairperson of CAPD Central Committee, attended the event.

The film Changier was developed over six years by the Beijing Changier Education Foundation. Based on the foundation’s two decades of frontline public-welfare practice in adolescent HIV/AIDS prevention education, and adapted from real-life stories of actual individuals, the film highlights the urgency and the pressing need for strengthened AIDS prevention education among young people. At the event, Zhang Yinjun, Chief Planner of the film and Deputy Director of the CAPD Central Committee Women and Children Committee, introduced the background information and shared her personal reflections and emotional journey during the filmmaking process.

Participants at the screening expressed that the film brought them profound shock and emotional impact. As government officials, they recognized that they are both contributors to social development and bearers of family responsibility. They emphasized that they should start from themselves, uphold enlightened and respectful awareness, and contribute their own efforts to public outreach and publicity for HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

The event was presided over by Liu Wensheng, Deputy Secretary-General of CAPD Central Committee and Chairperson of the Central Committee Offices Union. Li Xiaoying, Deputy Secretary-General of CAPD Central Committee, officials in charge of each department, and all staff members participated in the film screening event organized by the CAPD Central Committee Offices Union.
