On December 25, 2025, under the guidance of the An Hui Dong Li Community Subdistrict Office and with the support of the Da Tun Subdistrict Government, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation successfully held the founding conference and the first session of its inaugural Women’s Committee at the An Hui Dong Li Community in Da Tun Subdistrict. The meeting elected the first Women’s Committee, and Ms. Zhang Yinjun was chosen as Chairperson. All female staff members of the foundation attended the conference. The meeting was presided over by Wang Lingling, Deputy Secretary-General of the foundation. Zhao Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the An Hui Dong Li Community, along with Liu Yanhong, an official from the Women’s Federation, were present to offer professional guidance and support.

Organization Established, Standardized Journey Begins

The meeting strictly followed organizational procedures and successfully completed three important agenda items. First, the official approval was read aloud. The Women’s Federation of Datun Subdistrict announced the formal written reply consenting to the establishment of the Women’s Committee of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation. Second, the election regulations were reviewed and adopted. All participants examined and approved the Draft Election Method of the Women’s Committee of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation and selected Party Branch Secretary Wang Yan as the vote supervisor for the first election, serving as the scrutineer. Third, a democratic election was conducted. Through an open and impartial voting process, Comrade Zhang Yinjun was elected as the first Chairperson of the Women’s Committee, while Comrades Xi Chunyan and Guo Suzhu were elected as committee members.

The election results were verified as authentic and valid, marking the foundation’s women’s work entering a new stage of institutionalization and standardization.

Chairperson’s Address Outlining Vision and Charting the Road Ahead

The newly elected Chairperson of the Women’s Committee, Ms. Zhang Yinjun, delivered her inaugural address. She began by expressing heartfelt gratitude to the leaders of Datun Subdistrict and Anhui Dongli Community for their attentive guidance and strong support, and extended sincere greetings to all female colleagues within the foundation.

Ms. Zhang emphasized that the establishment of the Women’s Committee marks an important and joyful milestone in the foundation’s development. It not only creates a supportive and welcoming “home base” for female employees, but also serves as a key initiative to unite women’s strengths and deepen the foundation’s public welfare mission. On behalf of the First Women’s Committee, she formally pledged to pursue three major goals. First, the committee will act as a firm and dependable source of ideological leadership, bringing female colleagues together to uphold shared ideals and convictions, integrate personal growth with the great cause of “Love Education,” and realize meaningful life value through dedicated public welfare work. Second, it will be a warm and caring family for sisters in the workplace, listening attentively to their voices, safeguarding their lawful rights and interests, and showing genuine concern for the mental and physical health as well as the professional development of every woman. Third, it will function as an energetic and empowering platform, actively building channels for learning and communication, providing opportunities for growth, and helping female colleagues shine in their respective positions and contribute dynamically to the foundation and to society.

Ms. Zhang Yinjun particularly emphasized that the work of the Women’s Committee will be deeply integrated into the core projects of the foundation. In initiatives such as adolescent HIV/AIDS prevention education, sexual health education, and Motherly Love Academies, the committee will give full play to the unique strengths of women in emotional communication, psychological care, and educational guidance. At the same time, it will extensively mobilize social forces to participate in the volunteer services of Changier Huts, enabling the power of women to shine on the front lines of public welfare and to safeguard the healthy growth of adolescents.

Zhao Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Anhuadongli Community, extended warm congratulations on behalf of the Community Women’s Federation and the Community Party Committee for the successful convening of the meeting and the establishment of the Women’s Committee. He also stated that the Community Party Committee and the Women’s Federation would offer full support to the foundation’s Women’s Committee, work together to foster a positive atmosphere of respect and care for women, and jointly promote community harmony and the healthy development of women’s undertakings.
