On January 12, 2024, the Beijing Changier Education Foundation held a meeting to discuss charity and international cooperation in 2024. The meeting included an in-depth study on how to better fulfill the functions of an organization with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and to substantially carry out people-to-people diplomacy. Specific plans were also discussed on advancing Sino-Canadian cultural and educational cooperation and organizing youth participation in relevant United Nations activities. Zhang Yinjun, chairman of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Xing Haiyan, vice chairman and secretary-general, Lei Zhitian, vice director of the Academic Committee and senior researcher of Taihe Institute, Wang Lingling, deputy secretary-general, Zhou Hang, director of the International Affair Department, Tao Liangui, director of the Zhu Ai Autism Fund and expert from the Canadian CBI Autism Consultants, and Lan Ruo, secretary-general, attended the meeting.
